The Orcas Island Rowing team will host its annual Polar Bear Plunge on Jan. 1 at 11 a.m. sharp! This is a low-key ‘FUN-raising’ event to help defray the costs for the crew team. It will be held at the picnic shelter at Cascade Lake. Snacks, warm drinks and t-shirts will be on hand; this year’s theme is Frozen Focus. Orcas Island Rowing is a 501(c)3 non-profit. All proceeds go to help the team.
