Play ‘Wingspan’ at the Odd Fellows Hall Jan. 17

Are you a birder, a board gamer or (ideally) both? The Orcas Public Library, in collaboration with the Odd Fellows Hall, is excited to present Wingspan Day! Released in 2019, the board game “Wingspan” has attracted players with its wealth of bird facts and beautiful artwork and keeps players coming back with its strategic depth. Come learn and play this smash hit board game and test your mettle against other players.

Wingspan Day will be on Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Orcas Odd Fellows Hall. Doors open at 10 a.m. There will be experienced players on hand to teach the game all day; new players are welcome! Starting at 11 a.m., there will be a “Wingspan” tournament with prizes! The event is free and open to all ages and player skills. If you wish to participate in the tournament, make sure you are there and signed in by 11 a.m. Casual play will be happening all day. There will be copies of the game available to play, but feel free to bring your own copy if you have one.
