OrcasSong to donate hand sanitizer

Submitted by OrcaSong Farm and Institute

OrcaSong Farm and Institute is committed to supporting and making safe this place we love and the people who inhabit it as we all seek a safe, proactive and appropriately scaled response to the spread of the novel coronavirus. With that in mind, OrcaSong Farm has created a new hand sanitizer for its community and beyond. “We had the ingredients and the know-how, so we created a germ-killing AND skin-softening hand sanitizer to help protect our community.” Says Farm Manager Ariana Terrence. “We will have the hand sanitizer for sale online and in stores, but we will also be giving some away to those in our community who may need it.”

The new formula not only works (kills bad stuff) but also makes hands soft and smell beautiful (like running through a Lavender field). OrcaSong Lavender Hand Sanitizer contains their Organic Lavender Essential Oil and Hydrosol for more disinfecting power and a lovely scent. Also added is Organic Aloe Vera Gel and Vitamin E Oil for softer, moisturized hands. It has 66% alcohol, which is well above the CDC recommended 60 percent. Suggested Use: Spray until hands are wet and rub thoroughly until dry.

The Lavender Hand Sanitizer can be purchased online or can be purchased in bulk quantities. Any purchase will go to support the not-for-profit, women-led farm on Orcas Island, Washington and its community initiatives.
