Enchilada casserole! Beans and rice! Soup, salad, and dessert! These are all things you can find at the Senior Center on Wednesday, July 21.

From 5:30 to 7 p.m., Orcas Island’s 4-H Fur and Feathers club will be hosting dinner for islanders both young and old.

Fur and Feathers have been doing these dinners for the past two years led by their fearless leader and head cook, Kathy Morris.

Walking into the dining room, you will find tables set for six. You can join a table of friends or neighbors, or start a table of your own. The club’s pint-sized 4-H members will impress diners with their ever-growing waiting skills. The meals cost $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors – it’s the best deal on Orcas.

Fur and Feathers will be hosting two more dinners after this one. Members will exhibit, demonstrate, and compete at the San Juan County Fair (which is just around the corner on August 18 to 21). So please come join us tonight for an amazing meal and fun company to help support your local 4H club.
