I wanted to send out a note regarding the recent Mayoral election.

I want to thank all of the voters who cast their votes as a show of support for the five candidates and to our combined ultimate goal of supporting Children’s House.

I am grateful and proud that the electorate has chosen me to be mayor for the next year and it is my intention to maintain the dignity of the office that my predecessors have created.

I shall endeavor to communicate with the public on a periodic basis to comment on issues and events affecting Eastsound. In addition, I welcome folks to stop in and visit with me at Jillery, where I maintain regular office hours.

Once again, thank you for your support and I look forward to the next year as mayor of Eastsound.
