As a parent, I would like to thank The Funhouse for  the softball team’s fundraising dance last Saturday night. It was a great event, with tons of kids, great supervision (thanks to the adult chaperones!!) and great help from the Funhouse staff.

My son said everyone seemed to have a great time and I was happy to see adults with flashlights patrolling the property and checking vehicles.

I believe our teens on Orcas could benefit from more social events like this and I know that it’s up to us as parents to step up for volunteer support to ensure that the Funhouse is truly the safe, social environment that we wish for all teens.

I applaud the team, their chaperons for the event and the Funhouse staff for their efforts and support of our teens and the sports programs.
