After much thought and careful consideration, Ed and I have decided to discontinue Orcas Island Shuttle’s public bus service as well as our hourly charter service. This decision was made effective September 2011 and is a permanent decision at least for the foreseeable future. Our existing rental car service will remain intact and uninterrupted.

We’ve done our very best during the past eight years to provide a clean, pleasant and reliable public transit service here on Orcas and are sad to see it go. It has been our sincere pleasure to have done so.
