OI Booster Volunteers Helped Make Homecoming Memorable

The Orcas Island Booster Club recognizes those who helped make this year’s Homecoming festivities successful and fun. We understand the power of traditions and Homecoming is a big one! We are so thankful to have dedicated community members who volunteer their time every year to make these events special for our students and community.

The Bonfire at the Village Green would not be the fun, free, community event without Chef Zach in the School Cafeteria, who made the chili, Darren Dix and the Orcas Pep Band who brought the tunes, Justin Paulsen for providing the bonfire, and Tara & Michael Anderson-Cleveland for helping with logistics.

We are thankful for those who made Saturday’s games so festive: Cal & Terri Rodgers and Pete Moe who grilled up 180 burgers, the Lower Tavern who generously donated the BBQ food, Blythe Simpson for holding down the ticket booth during the games, Shelbi Mattila-Patton and The White Horse Pub for ample snacks, Kevin White for announcing soccer and Justin Paulsen for announcing volleyball.

We hope to see you at an upcoming home game; check OrcasVikings.com for updated schedules.

Go Vikings!
