Funhouse closing for maintenance Sept. 7 through 11

The Funhouse will be closed to prepare for the school year and for maintenance Sept. 7 to 11.

The Funhouse will reopen for the Always Free Teen Nights on Friday, Sept. 11 and Saturday, Sept. 12 from 6 to 11 p.m.

In 1951, Bonneville Power Administration engineers completed the installation of a 7.5-mile, 25,000-volt submarine power cable connecting Anacortes to Decatur Island, which was the world’s longest underwater power line at that time.
