Jayne Davis resigns as WSF Regional Operations Manager/North

Jayne Davis, Regional Operations Manager/North for the Ferries Division of the State Department of Transportation (Washington State Ferries, or WSF) announced on June 13 that she will resigned her position effective July 3.

Davis said, “My five years at WSF have been amazing. The most rewarding part has been my relationship with the Island Terminal Agents and other members of the San Juan County community. I will miss everyone very much and will try to come up and visit when I can.

“My replacement is Dan Ferguson, he is currently a Terminal Manager at WSF and has been with ferries for 28 years. Folks might remember seeing him onboard as a Purser in the mid- 80s and he spent quite a bit of time as a Terminal Supervisor in Anacortes in the 90s.

“Dan is very pleasant and capable and he is an awesome communicator. You are in good hands!”
