The county council is searching for San Juan County citizens to fill current and upcoming vacancies on county boards and commissions. The following is a list of current vacancies:
• Agricultural Resources Committee – six positions
• Deer Harbor Plan Review Committee – four positions
• Eastsound Design Review Committee – one position
• Eastsound Plan Review Subcommittee – four positions
• County Fair Board – one from the Lopez District, one for Shaw, one for Orcas, and one at large
• Human Services Advisory Board – Five positions, all islands
• Lodging Tax Advisory Committee – one contributor, one receiver
• Northwest Agriculture Business Center – one Lopez position
• Open Space Advisory Committee – two positions
• Solid Waste Advisory Committee – six positions
• Veterans’ Advisory Board – one Lopez position
• Water Resources Management Committee – two positions
