Christmas trees and Winter Wooly Pop Up at Lum Farm

The Lum Farm Tree Sale is about to begin! Noble, Frasier and Douglas Fir trees from 2 ft. to 10 ft. will be available. Tree sale hours are Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1071 Crow Valley Rd. while supplies last. Sales begin Friday, November 25, the day after Thanksgiving. No early birds please — farm chores need to be done before the sale opens each day.

The Lum Farmstand will be open during tree sale hours, so please stop by for island-grown meats, goat’s milk cheese and ice cream for your holiday gatherings, and an assortment of wool and farm-inspired gifts. Trees are first come first served, but you may order food items online at www.lumfarmllc.com for pickup at the farm.

On Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Lum Farm will host its 3rd annual “Wooly Winter Pop Up.” This event features the felted ornaments of Bossy’s Feltworks, holiday cards with artwork by Mandy and Lucy Troxel, ceramic ornaments by cheesemaker Crystal Mossman, sheepskins, yarn and more. To top off the festivities, the petting zoo will also be open for anyone who needs goat hugs.
