Orcas Island to celebrate homecoming

The Orcas Island Vikings will celebrate homecoming the fourth week of October.

All are invited to attend a pep rally and lip sync contest in the high school gym on Friday, Oct. 25 from 1:15-2:15 p.m. A parade through Eastsound will follow at 5 p.m. and all are invited to the Booster Club community celebration in the Village Green starting at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Oct. 26, there will be homecoming soccer games with Booster Club concessions. The boys play at 12:30 p.m. and the girls play at 2:30 p.m.; both teams are taking on La Conner. Royalty winners will be announced between games at 2 p.m.

During the week, the Vikings will play the following home games on Oct. 24 against Friday Harbor: girls soccer at 3 p.m. and volleyball at 4 p.m.
