Yakima ferry out of service – boats running behind today

The Yakima is out of service. There will be a 3:05 p.m. departure from Anacortes. The 4 p.m. departure from Anacortes to Lopez, Orcas, and Friday Harbor has been cancelled due to necessary repairs to the vessel.

The Evergreen State, which has replaced the Yakima, is operating 30 minutes behind schedule.

The 87-car Evergreen State is a smaller and slower vessel than the 144-car Yakima, currently undergoing needed repairs. Customers can expect delays until the Yakima returns to service. This will affect this sailing from Anacortes: 10:20 am sailing to Lopez and Friday Harbor.
The Evergreen State will also be delayed from Friday Harbor at 12:10 p.m. and from Lopez at 12:55 p.m.
