Dear Council Members,

The Proposed increase in the noxious weed tax is for full time staff and expenses.

I have removed a lot of scotch broom surrounding the Cemetery on Orcas in the last four years, I have also volunteered with Judy Jackson to remove scotch broom near the Fire Department.

While educating property owners about noxious weed and the need to remove them is great, I do not see that the County is allocating money to remove the noxious weed along the roads.

Maybe we need more volunteers.

I would not support this tax in this present form.
