Designers are invited to participate in a fashion event to take place on the opening night of a community show for visual art made from recycled materials (Oct. 24 to Nov. 20). Showcase your fashions made from recycled, upcycled, unconventional or discarded materials. Deadline to express your interest in participation is Oct. 17. Designers are encouraged to create bold, exciting, runway-ready pieces using materials like plastic, fabric scraps, cardboard, newspaper and other recyclable items.
