Artsmith salon to feature author Brenda Miller

This Sunday, Nov. 6, Artsmith Salon will feature author Brenda Miller.
The salon is at 6:30 p.m. at Kangaroo House Bed and Breakfast in Eastsound. The forum is open mic. Attendees are asked to bring a drink and a snack to share if possible.
Brenda Miller is the author of “Listening Against the Stone,” “Blessing of the Animals” and “Season of the Body,” and co-author of “Tell it Slant: Writing and Shaping Creative Nonfiction.”
Her work has received six Pushcart Prizes and has been published in numerous journals. Miller is a Professor of English at Western Washington University and serves as editor-in-chief of the Bellingham Review. Her book “The Pen and The Bell: Mindful Writing in a Busy World,” co-authored with Holly Hughes, is forthcoming in 2012 from Skinner House Books.
