Class will teach managing winter mud and runoff in livestock pastures

The San Juan Islands Conservation District is offering a class called “Horses for Clean Water” that will offer tips on managing mud and runoff in livestock pastures during the rainy winter season.

The class will be taught by Alayne Blickle on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Blazing Tree Ranch on San Juan Island.
