Orcas Elementary held its annual volunteer appreciation assembly on Thursday, June 14. Elementary students gathered to thank the many parents and community members who volunteer their time throughout the school year.

Volunteers help the school in all kinds of ways including reading with students, stuffing homework packets, chaperoning field trips, and many other tasks. Volunteers make the school environment so much richer and help teachers and faculty accomplish a safe and productive place for the children.
