Taj Howe and Aidan McCormick of Orcas Island achieved academic distinction for fall 2016 at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. Academic distinction is awarded after the completion of each semester. This recognition is given to all students who have completed a minimum of 12 credits, passed all credits attempted and have earned a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
