Once again, the annual Halloween Dance at the Odd Fellows Hall was a rousing success. We had a large and well-behaved crowd who danced the evening away with the fabulous music of FunkSway. A vast majority of people were in costume with prizes given to those considered the best of the best. We would like to thank the following businesses for their gift contributions:

Maple Rock, Hogstone, Anita Holliday, Ian Van Gelder, Orcas Gym and Athletics, Kathryn Taylor Chocolates, Shearwater Kayaking, Teezers, The Kitchen, The Barnacle and Portofino’s.

In addition to the dance, the winner of the Wood Raffle was drawn. That winner was a woman named Rachel (no last name or phone number) who requested that the wood is donated to a family in need. For that, we thank her.
