Orcas High School alumni Joie Zier rowed 3-seat in the winning University of Washington Rowing team’s Freshman 8 versus California, UCLA and Washington state at the PAC 12 Rowing Championships May 19 at Lake Natoma, California.

On a windy and rainy day, UW, Cal and Stanford entered the last points and tied for first place with the UW’s third varsity bringing home the win and third consecutive PAC 12 championship.
