The final home game of the Orcas Vikings volleyball team had a very fairytale ending for senior Shaye Spinner.

As the only senior on the team, it was fitting when she served the final point against the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes with a game-winning ace. Overall, it was a strong game for the Lady Vikings as they pulled through and took care of a tough MVC team in three straight sets. This will grant Orcas the number one spot in league rankings for the 1B postseason placement. A great seeding for the first district playoff game, in which Orcas has now won a home-court advantage.
