Volleyball and soccer playing at state

by Kate Long, Orcas Island Boosters.

Hello, Viking fans!

It feels like the dark days of winter but we are certainly riding the wave of fall sports!

Cross-country wrapped up last weekend with a solid trip to Pasco, WA where four Orcas runners competed.

The volleyball team made its way to the Yakima Sun Dome to compete at state. Their first game was at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10. View their bracket at https://www.nw1a2bathletics.com/m2/tourn.php?act=vt&tid=3681. You can watch the games with a subscription to NFHS Network (also needed to watch basketball games online).

The soccer team travels to Sedro Woolley on Friday, Nov. 11 to compete in the first round of state at 2 p.m. View their bracket at: https://www.nw1a2bathletics.com/m2/tourn.php?act=vt&tid=3673. You can watch this game on the Booster Club FaceBook live stream.

In-person Viking fans…we love you! You’ll need a ticket to all playoff games through www.gofan.co (sorry, no Booster discount for playoff games).

All this and basketball practice starts next Monday! Go Vikings!
