Volleyball

Vikings volleyball played two of the better teams in the league and got swept in both contests. On Sept. 30, Orcas traveled to Darrington for a 3-0 loss against the Loggers, one of the top teams in the league.

On Oct. 2, Orcas hosted Mt. Vernon Christian for another 3-0 loss against the Hurricanes.

On Oct. 4, the Vikings traveled south to compete in the non-league Seattle Christian Tournament.

“More playing time on the court is the experience this young team needs,” said Coach Gregg Sasan.

Orcas plays Cedar Park Christian this week.
