Boys’ soccer

The Vikings ended the season 12-0 in the league and 14-2 overall. Being undefeated during the regular season earned them first place in the league. The team then went on to districts and received third. They made it to the state playoffs but unfortunately fell just short of making it to the semifinals. On Nov. 16th the Vikings faced off against Riverside Christian. The players kept the crowd on their feet, with such a close match. In the end, however, the Viking soccer season came to an end with a 1-2 loss. The team had a great season and fought hard all the way to the end.

Basketball

Both boys’ and girls’ basketball started on Nov. 18, with midnight madness the night on Nov. 17. With the first week of practice underway, the Vikings are looking to start their seasons off strong. Both teams have their first game of the season on Dec. 6, against the Bush Blazers, at home, followed by a road trip on Dec. 7, to Coupeville.
