Volleyball

The Lady Vikings played in the Shoreline Invitational on Sept. 28 and came out with second place over some tough competition. On Sept. 30, the team went on to Auburn Adventist and took a defeat of 1-3. The team then headed to Mount Vernon Christian on Oct. 2 and won the first match, but came up short, losing 1-3. The next two games will be on the road at Friday Harbor on Oct. 8 and Darrington on Oct. 10.

Girls’ soccer

Coming off some tough losses, The Lady Vikings pulled out a 3-2 victory against Auburn Adventist on Sept. 30. The game was a close match all the way until the end. The score was tied 2-2, going into penalty kicks, and the team was able to pull out the win. On Oct. 2, the team then traveled to Mount Vernon Christian and suffered a loss of 0-2. The Vikings will be headed to Friday Harbor on Oct. 8 and to Cedar Park Christian on Oct. 10.

Boys’ soccer

The Vikings took on Friday Harbor Sept. 28 on the road. The teams were neck and neck through the finish with a game ending in penalty kicks. After 5 Pks each, the teams were still tied. It took 7 kicks, and the Vikings pulled through with a 2-1 victory. On Oct. 1, the team traveled to Lopez and ended with a 7-2 win, and then were back at home on Oct. 3 facing Friday Harbor once again. The team took the lead early and the game finished with a score of 4-1, in the Vikings’ favor, keeping their home winning streak to 16. The team heads to Mount Vernon Christian on Oct. 11.

Cross Country

The Vikings traveled to Shoreline on Sept. 28 with two of the members of the team placing. Jaydon Krisch took fifth in varsity along with Evan Kulper took ninth for JV. The team traveled to Marysville for the Nike Twilight Invite on Oct. 5 and will head to The Nike Hole in the Wall Invite at Lakewood High School on Oct. 12.
