Turtleback golf benefit returns to Orcas

The second annual Turtleback Open Golf Tournament benefitting Turtleback Mountain takes place Sunday, July 13 at the Orcas Island Golf Course.

The second annual Turtleback Open Golf Tournament benefitting Turtleback Mountain takes place Sunday, July 13 at the Orcas Island Golf Course.

“All levels of golfers are welcome, islanders and visitors alike!” says event organizer Madie Murray. The fun-filled day of golf includes food, friends and prizes galore, including round trip airline tickets to anywhere in the US and a timeshare vacation. Net proceeds will be donated to the San Juan Preservation Trust specifically to maintain the trails and beauty of Turtleback Mountain.

Entry fees are $30 for Club Members, $50 for non-members, $15 for junior/collegiate members, and $20 for student non-members 18 and under. Entry fee includes pre-game refreshments, snack pack at the turn, golfer gift bag, a chance to win many door prizes, a silent auction, trophies, and a delicious post-game barbecue dinner provided by Bogie’s Cafe! Pre-registration highly recommended!
