Saints football team dominates first home game

The Orcas Christian School held their first home game of the season recently against the Arlington Christian School Knights and won handily, 44-12.

Scoring was the result of several crisp passes from Ryan Flint and misdirection runs from Chase Cantrude and Cory and Cameron Aragon. Even the Saints slot receiver Alaena Comrie scored her first points of the season on a 20-yard pass play for 6 points, and Alexi Novak contributed the extra point on a pass deep to the back of the end zone!

The Saints play 17 games each season, home and away, that culminates in a league championship tournament in Vancouver, Washington at the end of April. The Saints won the tournament last season.
