Orcas Environmental Club hosts dodgeball tourney March 12 — TIME CHANGE

Back by popular demand, the Environmental Club will be hosting its third dodgeball tournament of the year. The event will take place on Friday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school gym. However, things are going to run a little bit differently: instead of forming teams prior to the event and filling out a sign-up form, participants are invited to come with friends and simply pay $2 at the door. Teams will be formed just before the games. All ages are invited, as this is a family-friendly event.

The event will take place on Friday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. (changed from 7:30 p.m.) in the high school gym. However, things are going to run a little bit differently: instead of forming teams prior to the event and filling out a sign-up form, participants are invited to come with friends and simply pay $2 at the door. Teams will be formed just before the games. All ages are invited, as this is a family-friendly event.

In keeping with holiday theme, participants are asked to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with costumes. As always, there are prizes for best costume as well as for the team with the highest ranking in the championship. All proceeds from the event will go towards the Environmental Club spring field trip to the Hanford nuclear facility.
