Senior Cara Peacock was named the Northwest 1A/2B All-league player of the year as well as being named to the All-league First Team. Peacock crushed a game winning double with two outs in the bottom of the final inning of a crucial game at the State Championships.

The Vikings defensive catcher and slugger, senior Renae Harvey, and slugger Lanie Padbury, were also singled out for First Team honors.

Second Team All-league team selection honors went to freshman pitching phenom Andria Garcia, clutch-hitting junior Sydney Harris and sophomore pitcher and fielder Bobbi Lowry.

Honorable Mention honors went to freshman first baseman Brooke Bruland and lightning-fast sophomore Alison O’Toole.

Despite a difficult season, two members of the Viking boys’ baseball team were recognized as Honorable Mention selections to the Northwest 1A/2B All-league teams: hard throwing senior Josh Culp and power-hitting senior Erik Hansen.
