After dropping the game against MVC on Tuesday 68-39, OIHS would rebound to defeat Friday Harbor in a 55-33 inter-island rivalry matchup.

After the game against Friday Harbor, junior Charlotte Winter-Lamphere reflected on what made the difference in the win.

“I think one thing that helped us win against Friday Harbor was, although we had some turnovers, all of the steals and transition buckets, and we were just out there having fun playing basketball, our bench had a ton of energy, and that helped us get a good win,” said Winter-Lamphere.

However, in the next game, the Lady Vikings would battle Lummi but would fall 48-40. The games this week bring the Lady Vikings to 6-6 overall and 1-4 in the district.
