The Orcas Kings Youth Football team, part of the North Cascades Youth Football League, is now accepting players ages nine to 14 for the season starting August 2.

Organizers said children can learn safety, discipline, conditioning, respect and team camaraderie.

“The younger the player starts, the better the player, the safer the player, and the smarter the player,” they said.

Registration forms are available at Orcas Island Realty, next to the museum.
