Tina Brown returns as head coach of Orcas Island Rowing with the help of alumni Jay Zier and iconic founding members Mike Reid and Dave Roseberry. This dedicated group of athletes meets at Cascade Lake at 6 a.m. and puts in an intense workout before school with a combination of physical conditioning, ergometer training and water practices on the lake. OIR starts their regatta season with the Dual Duel with Lake Stevens Rowing Club at Cascade Lake on March 25 and culminates with USRowing Northwest Youth Championships at Vancouver Lake May 19-21.
