Rose Beckwith | Passages

March 2, 1932-March 9, 2022

Rose Beckwith was born in Montana and graduated from Montana State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She worked for 44 years in that field and retired from Sutter Delta Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband John, and sons Carl (Cindy) and Keith (Denise). Also surviving are grandchildren Alisa and Austin (Amanda) Beckwith and Charissa (Greg) Anderson; great-grandchildren Matthew, Gavin, Lucy and Blake Anderson. An infant daughter Julie preceded her in death. At her request, no service is planned.

The family has so many fond memories that will be cherished forever. Rose had a full-time career, yet was a full-time Mom, a grandmother, a great grandmother and a wife for over 65 years. She worked nights and was still ready to go on many outings, always attended the kids’ sports competitions, volunteered at church, entertained friends and even had time to enter a cake in the Pillsbury bake-off. She won first place and took the family on a vacation with the winnings.

After raising the family, she became Dad’s assistant over a multi-year home building project on Orcas Island. She dedicated her life to caring for others, now she is in the care of God. Her heart of gold will always be with us.
