Philip was born in Olongapo City in the Philippines, after which he spent his childhood growing up in Virginia and southern California. He spent most his life enjoying life in the San Juan Islands where he worked in the culinary industry, construction trades and property management. Philip was known by all for his humor and his eager desire to assist others including his efforts in the bible education work as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife Gretchen, their son Austin, his siblings Priscilla and Aaron and father, Edwin Archie. A brief memorial service will be held to commemorate Philip’s life and reflect on the faith he had in the bibles promise for his future.
The service will be held at 2:00PM on July 2nd, 2022, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 112 Henry Rd, Eastsound, WA 98245.
