Maryanne Page | Passages

Maryanne Page (MA) passed away peacefully on New Year’s Day at Whatcom Hospice House in Bellingham at the age of 70. She was born on February 20, 1946, in Maywood, California to James and Marilyn (Redding) Page of Burbank.

She attended parochial school until transferring to John Burroughs High School in Burbank from where she graduated. Upon graduation, her adventurous spirt landed her in Sacramento where she met her first husband Kenneth Ladine and eventually were married in Carson City, Navada. They had two children together, Stephen and Tiffany Ladine.

Maryanne’s love for the water led to her relocating to Oregon and eventually to Orcas Island following her daughter Tiffany and first grandchild Casondra Lindgren. Maryanne went to work at Cascade Harbor Inn where she worked as the night manager until her retirement.

She loved sports; especially football and her Seahawks; music and dancing; and cooking for others. She conquered her fear of flying to visit relatives in California and a bucket list trip to Hawaii for a family vacation.

She was preceded in death by her older sister Sharron Bates (Page) and her younger sister Nancy Hardy (Page). She is survived by her two children Stephen and (Elizabeth) Ladine and Tiffany Ladine; her four grandchildren, Casondra Lindgren and William, Isabella and John Ladine; and one great-grandchild Natasha Victoriano.

In lieu of flowers, feel free to make a donation to the American Legion or the American Lung Association. A memorial is being planned for later this the spring.
