Lew Lehmann was an Orcas boy. He was raised in Westsound and his parents were Henry and Reba Lehmann. He was from the original Lehmann “clan” in Deer Harbor.

He married his high school sweetheart Mary (Rodenberger) from Olga, and they had 74 years of an incredible marriage. He graduated from high school on Orcas and went on to college and got his BA from Western in Bellingham and his Masters from Seattle Pacific in education. He leaves behind three children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
