Debo joined her G Man, (Garry Transue June 23, 1955 — June 6, 2019) with the grace and elegance she lived, peacefully at home.

Her words: “I wanted more time with you — wanted to make more art/love with you — wanted to take more walks/breaths with you. I feel cheated — losing you was not the plan…the self has passed away in the beloved.”

Deborah is survived by her mother Rhoda Scharaga, 98, niece Billie Henning, 40 and nephew Hayes Gelber, 38, of Arizona, as well as her many chosen family and friends, island and afar.

Her and Garry’s ashes were scattered in the Sound.
