Windermere Real Estate Orcas Island is an active participant in its parent company’s non-profit organization known as the Windermere Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to raise and distribute funds to low-income and homeless assistance programs that benefit children and families with children.

Each broker within the Windermere organization donates a portion of each commission received to the foundation. All funds are generated locally and distributed locally through the island’s social service programs. All local organizations that meet the foundation’s guidelines may be eligible to apply for the annual grants made by the foundation at the end of the year.
