“Whale of a Show is a great opportunity for kids to get on stage and perform their own unique act in front of a supportive audience,” said Orcas Rec Program organizers. “Performances can include song, dance, musical instruments, spoken word, or something of a unique nature that you choose.”

Children ages five to 18 can try out on August 17 or 19, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., in the Lundeen Room of the Senior Center. Organizers will provide a CD player and piano, but ask aspiring performers to bring any other props or musical instruments they might need.

The final show will be at 7 p.m. on September 11.

“It is always a fun and entertaining show for all,” said organizers. “Please come support Orcas Rec and the talented youth of our community!”
