Hours before Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump makes his way to Everett, local leaders have organized a rally to denounce his “dangerous and divisive campaign.”

Rep. Rick Larsen, Everett Mayor Ray Stephanson, Senator John McCoy, State Rep. Noel Frame, State Rep. June Robinson and more will speak at “No Hate in Our State – Protest Donald Trump in Everett” on Tuesday, Aug. 30 starting at 4 p.m. in Everett.

Organizers says they will “highlight how Trump’s hateful rhetoric is inconsistent with Washington state’s values and how we cannot afford to have hate in the White House.”

After the rally, demonstrators will walk to Xfinity Arena and protest outside the arena.
