Sign up for a portal account

You can sign up for a portal account at the aforementioned website. After you create your portal account, you will need to access your email to verify the account, and then you will need to log-out and log-in to have all of the apply online features available. If you already created an account when you applied for your burn permit in October, you do not need to create another account.

If you are an agent submitting the certificate on behalf of your clients, you must submit using your portal account, not your client’s account. When you submit, you will need to make sure that you have indicated the correct parcel number or address for the vacation rental certificate of compliance. You can submit multiples certificates from your account. Your clients will be able to search and see that their certificate has been submitted without being logged in or have an account.
