Community members thronged to Eastsound on Monday, Oct. 31 to trick-or-treat at local businesses, show off funky, creative, scary or sweet costumes.

Our favorites? Watching a carton of organic milk and an organic banana munch candy on the sidewalk together. Fur-clad bears and tigers sucking on bottles in their strollers. The fairy playing the saxe.

And Little Bo Peep – or was it Mary – perched on the steps of Mia’s Restaurant with a beautiful grin and an enormous black dog swathed in a fluffy sheepskin.
