The businesses of Eastsound would like to remind the public that the trash cans on sidewalks are not for garbage generated at home. On May 10, a business owner discovered that someone had left a kitchen appliance in the trash can (see photo).

The cans are a public service for visitors or residents walking through Eastsound who need to dispose of items like an empty coffee cup or dog waste.
