The “Mobile Mammogram” is returning to the Orcas Senior Center April 19-21.

Getting a high-quality screening mammogram and having a clinical breast exam on a regular basis are the most effective ways to detect breast cancer early. Islanders are encouraged to contact their medical provider for a clinical breast exam and call the Orcas Senior Center at 376-2677 to schedule a mammogram.

Mobile mammogram services on Orcas Island are made possible to all residents by grant funding through Orcas Family Health Center paid by Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Puget Sound Affiliate.
