The Funhouse to offer day camp

For parents who want to ensure their kids are safe, supervised, and engaged during the summer, but may not have a lot of money to pay for summer activities, The Funhouse is introducing Summer Adventure Camp, for kids age seven to 11.

For parents who want to ensure their kids are safe, supervised, and engaged during the summer, but may not have a lot of money to pay for summer activities, The Funhouse is introducing Summer Adventure Camp, for kids age seven to 11.

Summer Adventure Camp (known informally around town as “Funhouse Ninja Camp”) is an affordable solution to keeping everyone happy this summer, say Funhouse staff.

The supervised camp program will incorporate learning, outdoor play and hands-on involvement with organized sports and games, arts and crafts, science projects and more.

Funhouse staff will supervise organized activities for registered kids throughout the session.

Other activities, like more advanced art classes and open play time, will follow on Wednesdays through Fridays, at no charge for members.

Registration is week to week. Summer Adventure Camp will run Tuesday through Friday, from July 6 through August 27, 9 a.m. to noon. Kids should bring a snack for themselves, as food will not be provided.

Cost is $50 a week for members and $80 for nonmembers. Register in advance, as space is limited. Go to www.thefunhouse.org or call 376-7177 to register.
