Join the Orcas Island Lions Club for its first monthly sunrise volunteer meeting at the Island Skillet on Friday, Sept. 18. The meeting will start with free coffee at 7 a.m. and a no host breakfast. After a few introductory comments about the volunteer group, enjoy featured speaker Lance Evans of the Orcas Chamber of Commerce on the topic of “The 2015 Summer Economy.” The meeting will end at 7:40 a.m.

Anyone who might be willing to offer assistance to our neighbors and or to the Orcas Island Lions Club in a non-monetary fashion and those interested in networking with a group of volunteers are invited to attend. No membership is required.
