Candidates for the Orcas West Council position will appear at a Candidates Forum sponsored by the Islands Sounder on Friday, Oct. 3.

Richard Fralick and Mindy Kayl will attend the forum at the Eastsound Fire Station, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Lynne Hobbs, a San Juan Island resident and professional facilitator, will moderate the forum. Hobbs facilitated Town Hall meetings during the County Charter formation, and more recently moderated discussions with the San Juan Leadership program and the Sept. 17 Transportation Summit.
