Single-vehicle accident over Labor Day weekend | Correction

The vehicle was taking a corner when another car came up too fast on its bumper. The corvette accelerated and went into the ditch. The other car did not stop. The driver was not injured.

A corvette was involved in a minor, single-vehicle accident on Olga Road on Sunday, Sept. 6 around 3:30 p.m.

The vehicle was taking a corner when another car came up too fast on its bumper. The corvette accelerated and went into the ditch. The other car did not stop. The driver was not injured. Responding officers reminded islanders that it’s important to drive the speed limit.
